We may be able to offer a spare seat on a contracted school bus, if there are spaces available, where no public transport services exist. If you are offered a spare seat, your child would be required to get to the nearest existing pick up point/bus stop.

Travel assistance will be provided where the pupil attends their nearest qualifying school and the school is beyond the statutory distance (2 miles for children up to the age of 8, 3 miles from the age of 8 until 16). The nearest qualifying school will be determined with a measurement undertaken using our in-house mapping system. Where an application is made for a school other than the nearest, Admissions information will be considered to confirm whether the child could have attended a nearer school.

Extended eligibility criteria may apply to families on low income and in receipt of certain benefits, please use the drop down box below to state if you are in receipt of any qualifying benefits.
